SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

If you are in need of a tuition scholarship, you may apply through FACTS, an independent online platform that collects information and assesses eligibility while maintaining dignity and discretion.

Documents you will need to complete the application process:

  • Copies of your 2019 IRS Federal Form 1040, 1040a, or 1040-EZ US Individual Income Tax Return

  • Copies of all your 2019 W-2s

  • Copies of all supporting documents if you have business income/loss

FACTS charges an application fee of $35, payable by debit or credit card.

In order to be considered for a tuition scholarship, a verified FACTS application must be submitted by by April 30, 2020. Scholarship funds are limited and will be disbursed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Your FACTS application must be fully completed with all supporting documents uploaded in order for it to be verified. Only then can the Tuition Committee review your request for a tuition scholarship.

  • Once your application is complete, it takes up to two weeks for FACTS to verify your information. They may contact you to request further supporting documents.

  • Once we receive notification of your verified application, our Tuition Committee reaches a decision within two weeks.

How do I log into the portal if I forgot my username or password?

If you have forgotten your username or password please click here to reset your username or password through the link in the portal where it says, "Forgot Username or Password?"

I reset my username and passoword and I still can't log in

If you have an outstanding balance due for prior years’ tuition, you must resolve the issue by setting up a payment plan to cover your previous balance. Once resolved, you will be allowed access to the portal and can begin registration for the new school year. Please contact the Registration office at 718 735 0745 Ext 1313 to make payment arrangements.

What happens if I register my daughter after May 1, 2020?

Any student who is not fully registered before June 1, 2020 will be charged an additional $200 fee to reopen registration. This also applies to those who have begun registration prior to June 1, 2020 but have not finalized and selected a payment plan by the above deadline.

Tuition

I would like to pay my tuition by check and I don't see that option in the parent portal

Beth Rivkah no longer accepts payment in the form of a private check (unless it is coming directly from your employer). If you do send in checks, we will use the routing number and account number to take a direct payment instead of cashing the check. For your convenience, you can also enter this information as an ACH option.

I would like to pay tuition via my employer. How do I set this up?

You must first select a payment plan and enter your prefered method of payment on the Parent Portal. This will serve as a secondary form of payment in the event that your employer fails to make payments on your behalf. In addition please inform us of your intention to establish direct payment from your employer to Beth Rivkah so that we know to expect payment and avoid charging your account. Click here to submit your information. Please understand that you are responsible to cover your daughter's tuition, and must be in contact Beth Rivkah’s registration office should any issue or changes arise with your payment arrangement.
